Dr. Francois Harton
Dr. Francois Harton is a graduate of Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Emory Northlake Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of the Podiatry Institute, an organization committed to teaching other podiatrists. Dr. Harton specializes in surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle, diabetic foot care, and all general aspects of the foot and ankle for children, adults, and seniors. Over the past 26 years, he has enjoyed lecturing in the United States and Canada on some of the new techniques and refinements in foot and ankle care. Dr. Harton is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) and the Alberta Association of Podiatric Surgeons. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Calgary and Director of the Zivot Limb Preservation Clinic in Calgary.

Dr. Ali Manji
Dr. Ali Manji is a podiatric surgeon practicing at Calgary Foot and Ankle Clinic–MNP Sport Centre in Calgary, Alberta as well as the Zivot Limb Preservation Centre at the Peter Lougheed Centre. He is also a member of the Section of Podiatric Surgery in the Calgary Zone and provides on-call services for forefoot trauma and diabetes-related foot complications. He treats a wide variety of conditions of the foot and ankle including bunions, hammertoes, sports-related injuries, forefoot trauma, ingrown toenails, and diabetes-related foot complications. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Ali Manji went to the University of Alberta for his undergraduate degree. He spent the next seven years in Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed his podiatric medical education at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine followed by his comprehensive residency at Mercy Regional Medical Center/Cleveland Clinic. He also completed a one-year fellowship with the Rose Zivot Fellowship in Limb Salvage and Forefoot Reconstruction.
Dr. Karim Manji
Dr. Karim Manji is the Director of Research at the Zivot Limb Preservation Centre and Past President of the Association of Alberta Podiatric Surgeons. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has an interest in the diabetic foot, particularly ulcers and wound care. Dr. Manji is currently involved in research surrounding the impact of technology and its ability to improve healing times for diabetic foot ulcers, and to reduce rates of re-ulceration. He is also interested in tendon releases in the foot and ankle to help treat diabetic foot ulcers.
Dr. Steven L. Smith
Dr. Steven L. Smith is a fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in elective foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma, diabetic limb salvage, sports injury, minimally invasive surgery and arthroscopy. He graduated from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and went on to complete a three-year surgical residency at the prestigious Advocate Christ Medical Center. He then went on to complete a one-year fellowship in diabetic limb preservation and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Smith is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), Alberta Association of Podiatric Surgeons (AAPS), and the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA). He is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Calgary. He prioritizes patient-centered care, and treatment plans that align with each patient’s specific needs and goals. Regardless of whether care involves non-surgical or surgical options, his commitment remains to deliver the most effective and positive results for every patient.
